A second hardback edition, photographically reproduced from the original, was published by the South Florida Historical Association in 1966. It was then reprinted as a paperback in third, fourth, and fifth printings in 1974, 1985, and 1990. This book is an autobiography of one of Coconut Grove's pioneers. We have a copy for sale. 2. Ballinger was a reporter for the Miami Herald during the boom. He provides a detailed chronological history of those two amazing years.
